Adinkra symbols are visual concepts created by the Akan of West Africa. Each symbol represents a proverb or traditional morsel of wisdom. In an effort to promote our vision, we chose the symbol BOA ME NA MMOA WO as a part of our logo, which means "Help me and let me help you." The Sistahs In Sync organization believes in the power of women working together to create stronger blended family units.
